Canadienii nu renunţă la aurul românesc
Reprezentanţii companiei Gabriel Resources nu vor să plece din România.În ciuda contestaţiilor şi a lipsei autorizaţiilor necesare pentru începerea exploatării resurselor de aur, managerul regional de comunicare, Cătălin Hosu, a declarat pentru evz.ro că investitorul canadian nu se va retrage de la Roşia Montana. Acesta spune că, după obţinerea tuturor autorizaţiilor necesare, exploatarea va începe în maximum trei ani, timp în care se vor construi obiectivele miniere.
Gabriel Resources intenţionează să exploateze aur şi argint, prin firma Roşia Montană Gold Corporation (RMGC), timp de aproape 20 de ani zona de la Roşia Montană, susţinând că ar putea extrage câteva mii de tone.
În luna decembrie a anului trecut, Înalta Curte de Casaţie şi Justiţie (ICCJ) a anulat certificatul de descărcare arheologică acordat RMGC în 2004.
Pe de altă parte, săptămâna trecută, Curtea de Apel Bucureşti a obligat Ministerul Mediului să emită avizele şi acordurile de funcţionare solicitate de Roşia Montana Gold Corporation privind două baraje pe care compania voia să le ridice în cadrul proiectului Roșia Montana.
Decizia Curţii de Apel Bucureşti nu este definitivă
Pe 9 septembrie 2008, Roşia Montana Gold Corporation a acţionat în instanţă Ministerul Mediului, având ca bază refuzul ministerului de a emite acordul de funcţionare pentru barajele Corna şi Cetate, pe care compania voia să le ridice în cadrul proiectului Roşia Montana.
Cătălin Hosu susţine că, până acum, Roşia Montana Gold Corporation a investit peste 350 de milioane de dolari în dezvoltarea proiectului Roşia Montana. Totodată, investiţia totală este estimată la peste de 2,5 miliarde de dolari.
Imobiliare de 166 de milioane de dolari
Peste 166 de milioane de dolari din cele 350 investite până acum au mers către achiziţia caselor şi a terenurilor de la localnicii Roşiei Montana.
Mai mult, investitorul canadian se pune pe strămutat, iar localnicii din Roşia sunt dornici să se mute în casă nouă.
Potrivit lui Hosu, până la sfârşitul anului, un amplasament de strămutare la Alba Iulia, ia forma unui cartier rezidenţial modern, de 120 de case nou-nouţe.
Investiţia se ridică la 25 de milioane dolari.
